Onur ENGIN square edit part 1

This first release on Square features some of Onur's finest bits
indeed, kicking off with a chuggy rerub of William DeVaughn's Be
Thankful, which will work a treat on all discerning floors and has
been played all over the place by giants like Greg Wilson and Dicky
Trisco. Next up is a rather fantastic dubby rework of Diana Ross'
Brown Baby. Onur's additional drums and percussion turn this track
into headnodding fodder of the highest order. On the flip we get
two more edits: Gene Harris' As and Joaoa Donato get the Engin
treatment. Both are nice enough and will get you some beaming
smiles on the dancefloor, but it's the tracks on the A side that
will do the real damage this summer.

The Shookt - Ghost In The Machine

Lunaflicks co founder Strangefruit aka 50% of the epically awesome Mungolian Jetset teams
up with fellow Norse nu disco icon Diskjokke on this new project, The Sjukt.
Essentially translated as 'the sick', Diskjokke and Strangefruit deliver two tracks of disjointed
digital discotheque delight. "Ghost In The Machine" is the deeper moment; with a chunky
psychedelic groove, replete with rolling cowbell action, forming amidst a vacuum of spaced out atmospherics.
It's the robotic funk of "Bug In The Machine" where the partnership really excels: a satisfyingly blunt techno
stomp is aided and abetted by abrasive sounding riffs, tripped out squeaks and bleeps and extended siren drops.
