Game On....

Deep House Mestro Nacho Marco joins forces with Sais and Fabiani and together they're
dropping a Balearic House stormer (with a certain Jan Hammer influence). Although
they keep the things simple the track relentlessly grows during its whole length to
full effect. OOFT! is on the remix duties. He speeds up the track, so the purist can
call it house without suffering, and he does a great job while doing it, taking the
whole thing into deeper territories.

KZA is back

FRESH DISCO MIX FROM JAPANESE DJ/DIGGER/PRODUCER EXTRAORDINAIRE KZA of Force Of Nature/Mule Music fame. Heads in the know will tell you that whenever KZA drops a mix, he does it up PROPER - schooling you on whatever theme or genre he focuses on with finesse and style (if you're lucky enough to have his disco breaks mix from a few years ago you already know what's up). For this inaugural mix on God Service, a new label affiliated with a ll the right people (COMBI, Golf Channel, Rub N Tug, to name a few), KZA takes you to church with an impeccable mix of disco cuts inspired by the golden age of disco and beyond. You'll find plenty of Cerrone and Gino Soccio, right up next to Garage classics from Tamiko Jones and Debbie Jacobs, and even some newer Balearic dub numbers from Prince Thomas thrown in for good measure. The whole thing is mixed to perfection and will have you dancing right out your seat. Limited pressing, so don't miss it!

mixed feeling....

Kraak & Smaak present Mixed Feelings - a
collection of brand new tracks, remixed
highlights from their Electric Hustle album
and the cream of the remixes and
collaborations they have worked on, including
Moby!

The dutch boys have been on a continuous
upward curve since they first broke out of
Leiden with their debut album Boogie Angst and
have never looked back since, playing massive
shows at the cream of the worlds festivals
from Glastonbury to Detroit Movement and
DJ ing at the world s best clubs.

In 2011 they released their third studio album
Electric Hustle and the effects of that
release are still rippling right now. Dynamite
from that album was a # 1 radio record in the
US, Let s Go Back was in Mixmag and DJ Mag s
singles of the year and is still holding its
position in the Beatport deep house chart 6
months after its release. New single Built For
Love is grabbing attention in all the right
places and their collaboration with fellow
Dutchman sander Kleinenberg has been a massive
club record.

Mixed Feelings includes the killer remixes
from Electric Hustle by Solomun, Lovebirds and
Psychemagik as well as an album exclusive
remix by Max Sedgley of the K&S track Forget
About You featuring the legendary soul man Lee
Fields on vocals.

SDC unknown sea EP

Hands of Time continues its run as one of the most excellent and dependable
labels on the market with this, Social Disco Clubs new Unknown Sea EP. The
release features three killer tracks. >Lilt< is a deep and driving House
banger with some soulful Diva vocals. Simple Dreams is a return to the sort
of leftfield Disco sensibility that weve come to expect from the label with
some groovy organ work and a beat that wont stop. Finally, Unknown Sea has
a straight-up jackin, minimalistic feel coupled with a sense of ethereal
beauty that should do wonders both on your home stereo and on the
dancefloor. With the label investing in a new cover design and quality
releases like this, Hands of Time is definitely ready for 2012

Disco In Distress Pt 1

A new compilation of deep disco from four different producers on Amplified’s Disco In Distress series. Russian producer Lay-Far uses some canny mid-tempo glitterball samples on «Yellow» but mostly keeps them filtered deep under some Revenge-style drums, while Lump takes a vocal from a Bill Withers-esque singer and layers it nicely over a classy house backing. Mudeg supplies a bubbly future-bass number, complete with some gurgling retro acid lines on «Luv No Guarantee» while Nicholas’ funky and slow «Wind City» rounds off the collection in a soulful, Roy Ayres-ish mood.
played by: Gerd, Visti, Jacques Renault, Solab, Amplified Orchestra, Cottam, Outernational Holland, The Legendary 1979 Orchestra, Get Down Edits, East Soul Person

Maurice Aymard Italo Slot EP

Intriguingly, the title track does not take inspiration from the excesses of late 70s Rimini but rather the jazzy house of 90s New York as sweet strings push the arrangement into a filtered breakdown. The Big Apple’s influence comes to the fore on the Eddie C rework of «Italo Slot», where funk guitar stabs are fused with a walking bassline. However, the Italo influences finally surface on «El Sexto», where airy synths are combined with stacatto drums for the most dance floor moment on the release. Completing the package is Trujillo’s remix of the title track, which offers a more laid back, windswept version.
